Students handed in cycle 12 centres. If you were absent, centres must be handed in on your return to school.Several assignments were returned to students.
Cycle 13 centres were introduced to students as well.
MATH 6B
We continued looking at estimating products and quotients using front end rounding, decimal benchmarks and compatible numbers. The textbook assignment was assigned for homework. (page 94 #`1-7) Use Step by Step page for question 6.
SOCIAL 6B
Students worked on their Atlantic Country Map Assignment. The assignment requires students to list a minimum of 20 countries from the list provided. Countries should be labelled in all capital letters, and only the countries that are labelled need to be coloured.
Students were also assigned their countries and shown how they will use cycle 13 centres to create their outline map.
