Period 2 - Live Arts Presentation

Student participated in a live arts presentation, "Writing the World Around Us."

Today was day 3 of cycle 20 centers.  They are due on May 7.

1. Current Events - the Earth day current event was corrected together.  Students began the current event, "Election in Taiwan Angers China".  The story was read together.

2. The longitude assessment from Wedesday was corrected together.

3. Students continued working on their latitude/longitude booklet.

- we continued our look at angles today

3. We corrected the booklet pages from yesterday

4. Students had time to finish the booklet

5. We then went outside for an angle hunt

Period 2 - ELA 6B

Students had this class to revise and edit their descriptive writing, "My Favourite Place".  A revising and editing checklist was completed while making revisions.

Period 3 - ELA 6B

Students read the story, Hopes, Dreams and Challenges" and completed an activity page that went with it.  If you were absent this is posted on Google Classroom

 Period 4 - SOCIAL 6B

1. Current Events - Students watched an episode of "The World From A to Z"

2. Latitude and longitude - students continued working on their latitude and longitude booklet. The first 4 pages should be completed by Tuesday.
