Today was Day 1 of Cycle 13 centres. ALL CENTRE ACTIVITIES ARE DUE ON FEBRUARY 7. If you were absent you must collect the centres you missed.After centres were over, students watched a video of the ISS - we learned a lot about life on the ISS
SOCIAL 6A
Students corrected map skills (A Closer Look at North America) that was due today. The Atlantic Country map was also handed in. Students were given a "Country Fact Page" assignment and began making their fact page on the computers. Please read over the assignment page attached to your homework folder if you were absent.
MATH 6B
We continued looking at estimating products and quotients using front end rounding, decimal benchmarks and compatible numbers. The textbook assignment was corrected together. (page 94 #`1-7) and the step by step was handed in. Students were given a hand in assignment that is due tomorrow (it took most students 10 minutes to complete)
We began our study of multiplying decimals. Students watched a video to teach them how to multiply with decimals. View the link below if you were absent.
RTI
Because of final exams, RTI is being held in our homeroom.
HEALTH
Students wrote their decision making test today. The study guide/review was also alotted marks. If you were absent, you will write it tomorrow.
