ELA HOMEWORK:
Students are working on their Family Heritage Interview Assignments. Due date: DECEMBER 13


MATH HOMEWORK:
Textbook page 22 and 23 #1,2,4(use step by step),5,a,b  This is due tomorrow (Friday, December 7). 


SOCIAL HOMWORK
From Sea to Shining Sea- 6B is due is December 10 and 6A is due on December 7
Longitude Booklet -6A - due Friday 6B (Up to and including page 6 is due for Monday, December 10

HEALTH  HOMEWORK:
Decision Making case study is due tomorrow!

FRENCH HOMEWORK:
Les mois booklet - first page - due Tues. Dec. 11

ELA 6B
Students listened to 10 minutes of "Bridge to Terabithia"  and then had the remainder of the period to work on their Family Heritage Interview Powerpoint Assignments. Each slide should be a separate question and response. There will be 1 more class to work on this. These are coming along very nicely. It would be great if students could come with some pictures that they could add to their presentations.  I am looking forward to hearing these presentations next Thursday!

MATH 6B

Students continued with our new concept, "Using Variables." Students have learned how to write the pattern rule from a table of values as well as how to write the data as an expression with a variable. For example if the pattern rule is "Multiply the input by 4 and add 6, the expression would be 4n + 6." Students have also leaned how a table of values can be used to solve problems.  All of these concepts were reviewed again today.  Students were given the following textbook assignment for homework:  Page 22 #1,2,4 (use step by step), 5a,b

SOCIAL 6B
A new current events package was given to students. It will not be due until after the holidays. (mid-January some time).  We corrected the longitude booklet that was due today.  We will complete the booklet and begin a latitude/longitude review next day.
