ELA 6B
Students handed in centre activities today and shared their Spelling Discoveries. Cycle 6 Centres were introduced to students. These centres will be due on November 1. Class ended with our read aloud.
MATH 6B
We continued our look at factors today. Students practised writing factors, finding common factors and determining GCF (greatest common factor). Students were assigned BLM 28. This is homework for tomorrow.

1. Current Events - students had time to work on their October Current Events package which is due on November 1.
2. Class discussion on how the natural environment influences our lives was held. As an introduction to a Brazilian case study, students filled in a KWL chart on what they know and what the want to learn about Brazil.
