Notes/Reminders for Today

• Please bring your $5 for the tri-fold boards. Students will begin designing their social presentations over the next few classes.
• The EHS Annual Awards Program celebrating student academics was held this afternoon.  Congratulations to ALL our students.  Be proud of your accomplishments!!!!
• Students received a letter yesterday inviting them (and their parents) to attend the Sr. Drama performance of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe as a grade 6 class event on Friday, June 8 at 7:30 pm. The drama production coincides with our novel study. Mr. Marchand will reserve a block of seats for the grade 6 students (and their parents), but ticket requests and money must be paid by Friday, June 1.

9:00 - 10:00- Math

Students completed the following math centres on ratio:

Centre One - Text Assignment Correcting
Centre Two - Penny ratios/Smartie ratios - this page is due tomorrow
Centre Three - Extra Practice/Homework Book Hand in assignments - both of these pages are due tomorrow!

10:00 - 11:00 -History 20 Presentations

Students were invited to participate in the interactive simulations presented by the History 20 on population growth and resource distribution.  Students voted on the best presentation.

Period Three -ELA 6B

Students listened to the last chapter of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.  The remainder of the class was devoted to typing the friendly letters. There will be some more class time available for this next week.

Period Four and Five - Academic Awards and Talent Show

Students attended the annual academic awards and talent show this afternoon.  Congratulations to all of the students who won awards and shared their talent.  IT WAS AN AFTERNOON OF PROUD MOMENTS!!!!!
