Notes/Reminders for Today

• Grade 6 students will be helping with town clean up on Monday May 14 with an alternate day of May 25. AN INFORMATION LETTER AND PERMISSION SLIP WAS SENT HOME WITH STUDENTS ON MONDAY! There are 8 students that have not returned these.  Please bring them in tomorrow!
• Please bring $5.00 to cover the cost of the tri-fold board that will be used in our social Cultural Fair
• Early Dismissal at 12:12 today
• CENTRES WERE DUE TODAY!

Period One - Grade 6 Band

Period Two -ELA
CENTRES WERE HANDED IN TODAY!  If you absent please be prepared to hand them in tomorrow.  Students shared their Spelling Discovery and a few minutes were spent on housekeeping items.  Students then listened to Chapter 7 of The Lion the Witch and The Wardrobe.

 

Period Three -Math

We began the class with some housekeeping items as there are a few students with incomplete assignments.  We took a look at comparing mixed numbers and improper fractions.  Students learned several strategies for comparing these fractions.  No homework was assigned.
