Notes/Reminders for Today
- Homework for the weekend: Comparing Mixed Numbers and Improper Fractions handout is due on Wednesday. Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe Questions for Chapter 11 and 12 are due on Wednesday. French review pages on conjugating regular verbs is due on Friday, May 25.
- Please bring $5.00 to cover the cost of the tri-fold board that will be used in our social Cultural Fair
Period One - Math
Students wrote the problem solving benchmard assessment during this period today. At a glance, the results are impressive. You all tried your very best! Good work!
Period Two -ELA
Students had time to complete Chapter 9 and 10 questions for The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe. These are due on Wednesday if you did not get done in class. Students then listened to chapter 11.
Period Three -French 6A
The assignment on re verbs was due today. This was corrected together as a class, IF YOU WERE ABSENT, PLEASE HAND THIS IN! A review assignment on ER, IR and RE verbs was handed out today. This is due next French class (which doesn't happen to be until Monday, May 28!) Students can expect a test on conjugating regular verbs in the near future.
Period Four - Social 6B
Students worked on completing their research today. All research is due next week. Several students began planning their display board that will be designed for our heritage fair. Thanks to the students that have brought $5 for the tri-fold board. Please get this in as soon as possible - display board will not be given to students until their payment is made!!!!!
Period Five - Grade 6 Band
