- Ms. Chewka has sent home a note regarding the Standards Track Meet which will be held on April 25 in Yorkton. The forms need to be handed back by Monday, April 2
- Science Homework: Sun questions and diagrams are due tomorrow.
Students handed in their cycle 17 centres and shared their spelling discovery with the class. The rest of the class was devoted to introducing cycle 18 centres and concepts related to the new round of centres. This cycle's centre activities can be found below.
Period Two - Math 6B
Extra Practice 4 was assigned for homework today. Students were also given another hand-in to start working on. All of these assignments are reinforcing the concepts of decimal multiplication. We also talked about the trick for multiplying by 10, 100 and 1000.

Students had the first part of this class to work on current events and map skills. Map Skills, "A Closer Look at Asia" is due on Friday, March 30. Current events are due on Wednesday, April 4.
Our next topic, "Pre-Contact Indigenous People of the Americas" was introduced to studnets today. Students gained an understanding of what pre-contact means. This is an introduction to a major assignment that we will begin after the Easter Break.
