We corrected the booklet, "How the AIDS Virus Works". Students were give the last booklet of the unit. We worked through the first page together. There is no homework.
SOCIAL 6A
"Misfits" was due today. Students were assigned "Four Cross Country". It is due on April 18. Students had the rest of the class to work on their Atlantic Country Climate assignment and their Mali in the Crossfire booklet. These are both due on Friday, April 12.
MATH 6B
Class began with "Bell Work" - daily word problems. We finished off equivalent ratios by correcting the text assignment AND the hand-in booklets that were due today. PLEASE HAND THIS IN IF YOU WERE ABSENT.
We then moved onto our study of "Exploring Percent". Students watched a video on percent. The link to the video is found below. No homework was assigned!

WRITING
Students listened to our read aloud, "Maniac McGee" for the first half of class. The last half of class had students working through their "Complete English Smart" booklet that was distributed before the break. We corrected the questions on the Monarch Butterfly and the next 2 pages of the booklet were assigned for homework.
