Students worked on day 4 of cycle 15 centres today. ALL CENTRE ACTIVITIES are due on Monday, March 4. Keep working on the independent reading activities as well! Don't forget that the sentenc/paragraph fluency booklet up to and including page 82 is due tomorrow.Textbook assignments page 164 was due today. We corrected questions 4, 5, 6, 8 and students HANDED IN the step by step for question 7. The Extra Practice 1 was also due. Students handed this in as well.
Students looked at mixed numbers on a number line and compared the numbers. This hand in page is DUE TOMORROW!

ATLANTIC COUNTRY MAPS WERE DUE TODAY.
Idle No More - students were introduced to this current event story. We read the story together, discussing new vocabulary and terminology.
We then began a study of climate. Students completed a pre-test and then watched the first part of the video while checking their pre-test answers. This will be continued on Friday.
Don't forget that map skills, "A Closer Look at South America" is due on Wednesday, March 6.
