Activity Day money was due today.  Anyone that did not pay by Friday at 3:30 will have to see Mr. Daniel.

Mixed Numbers and Improper Fractions - 2 hand ins are due on Monday

Centres - Cycle 15 centres will be due on Monday, March 4
Sentence Fluency Booklet - up to page 88 is due for Friday, March 1.

Map Skills - 6A is due on March 5 - 6B is due on March 6 - (PLEASE NOTE DATE CHANGE)
Idle No More - 6A Question AND Editorial cartoons are due on Thursday, March 7.

Students are working on their calendar projects. There won't be any more class time provided. This will be due on March 7. As well there will be a calendar test on March 7.

OUR DAY IN A NUTSHELL......

ELA

Several assignments were handed back to students.  Correcting of the paragraph and sentence booklet up to page 82 was done as a class.  Students were assigned up to and including page 88.

MATH 6B
We looked at a "trick" to converting improper fractions to mixed numbers and mixed numbers to improper fractions.  Students were given 2 hand in assignments.  These are due on Monday.

SOCIAL 6A  
Idle No More - students worked on the editorial cartoon activity.  This as well as the questions are due on Thursday, march 7.
We then continued our study of climate. Students finished completing the  pre-test while watching the video.  We then wrote down the climate zones (from the video) and described the precipitation and termperature for each region.
Don't forget that map skills, "A Closer Look at South America" is due on Wednesday, March 6.

We corrected some math pages as a class.  We were then treated to "The Monkey's Paw", a drama presented by the Grade 8 students.  Thank you for a great performance!!!
We returned to class where students received their French test review.  THE TEST WILL BE ON MARCH 7.
