OUR DAY IN A NUTSHELL......

Students were introduced to cycle 10 centres and completed a writing assignment. (My Christmas holiday was......) We are excited to begin a "Mission Space Book Club" in guided reading to coincide with the new Space unit in Science.
MATH 6B
Students have started the new year working on their math operations review booklet. Students were assigned page 20 of the booklet. This is due tomorrow.
SOCIAL 6B
Current Events - we read an article on the Northern Gateway pipeline and highlighted the pros and cons. Students then completed the graphic organizer.
Latitude and Longitude - we reviewed the concepts of latitude and longitude and students were assigned pages 9 and 10 of the booklet.
