OUR DAY IN A NUTSHELL......
MATH 6BThe decimal worksheet that was due today was corrected together as a class. We spent some time discussing what a decimal is, what our understnading of decimal place value is and how to write a number in standard form (8.456), written form (8 and 456 thousandths OR eight and four hundred fifty six thousandths) and expanded form (8 + 0.4 + 0.05 + 0.006 OR 8 ones and 4 tenths and 5 hundredths and 6 thousandths). Students were given a math hand-in assignment: BLM 50-51 (Place Value to Hundredths and Thousandths) This is due tomorrow.
ELA 6BCycle 12 centres were introduced to students. Cycle 11 centres were handed in. The remainder of the class was given to students to work on "My Favourite Place."SOCIAL 6
- Current events were due today. PLEASE HAND THIS IN IF YOU WERE ABSENT.
- Page 16 and 17 of the latitude and longitude booklet were DUE. We corrected this as a class.
- The rest of the class was spent working on the test review (TEST IS ON WEDNESDAY) Students were given an answer key to work on if need be.
