"Good Grooming" posters were due today.
We began a unit on decision making today. We read "Worth the Risk?" and discussed decisions we might make that would cause risk.

September current events and the Globes and the Earth centre activity were handed back to students. Today was a map skills day. Students were assigned, "O Canada" This is due on October 17. The remainder of the class was devoted to working on the continents and oceans map that was assigned last day.
MATH 6B
Multiplication conditioning was the introduction to our class. The Exemplar problem and place value centres were handed back to students. We corrected the assignment on multiples that was due today (page 56 #3 and 5). Students were given the rest of the textbook assignment for homework. THIS IS DUE TOMORROW! As well, students were given two hand in assignments (BLM 27 and Exploring Multiples Practice). These ARE NOT homework.
RTI
Teacher passes were issued to students that have missing assignments. Others worked on incomplete centres from today, math homework, or French test preparation.
ELA 6B
Assignment hand back started the class. Students filed these in the appropriate place in their binder. Student ConnectEd passwords for issued to students. This is a different username and password from the one parents received. Students worked on their mythical creature research assignment. We will have 2 more class periods to work on this.
