Notes/Reminders for Today

• Please bring your $5 for the tri-fold boards. Students will begin designing their social presentations over the next few classes.
• Today was the last call for ticket money for any students and their families that would like to join us in attending the drama production of The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe.  The show will be Friday, June 8 at 7:30 pm.
• Band Concert - June 11
• Heritage Fair - June 20 - pm
• Grade 6 band recruitment at Pj Gillen and barbeque at Carlton Trail - June 22

9:00 - 10:00- Social 6A (6B had Science - check Ms. Smart's blog for details)

Students worked extremely hard on their heritage fair presentations today.  A date has been picked - we will present our pre-contact tribes to students, staff, families and community members on June 20 in the afternoon.

10:00 - 11:00 -Math 6B

Students reviewed the concept of equivalent fractions  The Extra Practice hand-in assignment is due tomorrow!!!!!

Period Three -French  6B

Verb tests were handed back to students.  Well done, grade 6!  We started our last unit on Ma Famile.  Students will create a Powerpoint presentation on 5 family members.  Students viewed samples today and were introduced to some basic vocabulary.

Period Four and Five - Movie - The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe

Students watched the movie as a culminating activity for our novel study.  F and P assessments were conducted during this time.
