Notes/Reminders for Today
- A band intention form was sent home on Friday with students. It was due ON MONDAY. Some student still have not brought this back!!!
- Grade 6 students will be helping with town clean up on Monday May 14 with an alternate day of May 25. Permission slips will be coming home shortly. PLEASE NOTE THE DATE CHANGE!!!!!
- Grade 6 Immunizations will be tomorrow morning!!!
- Please bring $5.00 to cover the cost of the tri-fold board that will be used in our social Cultural Fair
- PHOTOSTORY NARRATIONS NEED TO BE COMPLETED BY FRIDAY!

IF YOU WERE ABSENT, YOUR CENTRE ACTIVITIES ARE ATTACHED TO YOUR HOMEWORK PACKAGE. IF YOU HAD NEWSPAPER, THIS NEEDS TO BE DONE AT SCHOOL. MAKE TIME TO DO THIS AT NOON OR BEFORE SCHOOL.

Status check on digital stories was done - only 7 students have completed the assignment! Students may need to use noon hours or RTI to complete this.

Period Three -French 6B
We corrected the er verb fill in the blank page that was due today. Students had some time to complete the translation portion of the assignment (translate 10 of the sentences into English.
We began our study of conjugating ir verbs. The process of conjugating ir verbs is EXACTLY the same as er verbs, EXCEPT the endings are different. Students were given 1 to complete for homework. THE TRANSLATION PAGE IS DUE TOMORROW!
Period Four - Math 6B
1. We finished watching the video from yesterday. If you were absent, you can view the video from the link found on yesterday's blog.
2. Students were taught about mixed numbers and completed the 2 hand-in pages (if you were absent, they are attached to your homework package. Also, students were assigned the textbook homework page #1-9 (use step by step for question 7).

RTI - Students used RTI time to complete centre activities, finish the CWE assignment that is due on Thursday, complete the French ER verb translation, redo their creative writing centre if requested, complete their shelter research for their Social project, practice their narration of their PhotoStory or read independently.

- Oral Speaking practice - students shared an interesting fact about the food of their group.
- Students had time to complete their food research and began their shelter research. Please keep up with your research as we will be moving onto a new topic each day.
