Notes/Reminders for Today

Please bring your $5 for the tri-fold boards.  Students will begin designing their social presentations over the next few classes.

9:00 - 10:45 Centres

We began cycle 21 centres today.  Students listened to chapter 13 of The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe in guided reading.  Fountas and Pinnell testing is also being conducted during centre time this cycle.   Below is an overview of this week's centres.

CYCLE 21  CENTRES WILL BE DUE ON MAY 30

10:45 - 11:00 - Math

Students handed in their textbook assignment on comparing mixed numbers and improper fractions.  The rest of the class time was given to complete the hand-in assignment.  THIS IS DUE TOMORROW!

Period Three - Phys. Ed 6B with Ms. Chewka

Period Four - Social 6B

Students had this class to COMPLETE  their research on the assigned pre-contact indigenous group of the americas.  Many students are done and have begun to work on their presentation.  Students will have 3-4 more classes to complete this.  We are looking forward to our heritage fair!    Please remember to bring the $5 for the Tri-fold board.  Students will need their tri-fold boards within the next two or three classes!

RTI - Students used RTI time to work on the math assignment that is due tomorrow,  complete overdue assignments, and work on their social project.

Teacher passes went to students working on their math assignment.  It is so nice to see students requesting teacher passes, so they can have extra assistance!
