- Don't forget about the timetable change that will occur after the Easter Break. The lunch hour will now be from 11:57 0 12:57. Students recieved an information note yesterday from Mr. Copp
- Report Cards will be issued on Tuesday, April 17. Parent Teacher Interview nights will be on April 18 and 19. A note went home with students today regarding interviews.
The first half of the class was devoted to work time. Students were given time to work on current events(due by 3:30), French calendars (due by 3:30), centre activities (due April 16), or comprehension journal activities (due at 3:30)
For the last 30 minutes of class, student listened to our read aloud, "The Amazing International Space Station"
Period Two - Math
Students had time to work on the multiplication practice. The first 3 pages need to be completed for homework. They are due on April 16.
Period 3 - Social/French 6B
We started our class off with social. We finished our discussion on the pre-contact indigenous people of the Americas. Students completed an assignment that identified how the environment of the indigenous people influenced their lifestyle. This assignment is due on April 16.
Students then had some time to put their calendars together or work on their current events.
Period Four -Reading Buddies/Hand Back
Student spent the first half of the class in the PPEP room reading to their buddies. Students that were not done assignments stayed in the classroom to work. Several assignments were handed back to students and filed in their binders during the remainder of the period.
Period Five - Social 6A/Locker Clean Out
Students worked on the following three assignments during our 4 0minute class:
1. French calendar (due at 3:30 today)
2. Current events (due at 3:30 today)
3. Pre-Contact Indigenous People of the Americas (due on April 16)
Any assignments that were due today HAD to be handed in at 3:30 whether they were completed or not.
Students were called for a locker clean out for the last 20 minutes of class time.
