Notes/Reminders for Today
- Math Test on Decimals – Friday, April 27 - Note the date change!
- Grade 6 students will be helping with town clean up on Monday May 14 with an alternate day of May 25. Permission slips will be coming home shortly. PLEASE NOTE THE DATE CHANGE!!!!!
- STANDARDS TRACK MEET IS Tomorrow, WEDNESDAY, APRIL 25 - A NOTE WENT HOME YESTERDAY!!!!!! Please remember your gym clothes, a water bottle and a bagged lunch (or money to purchasse lunch at the concession)
- Please bring $5.00 to cover the cost of the tri-fold board that will be used in our social Cultural Fair
Period One- ELA 6B
Students were given an introduction to cycle 19 centres which will begin on Thursday. A summary of the centres is listed below.
Period Two - Math 6B
The hand in assignment on dividing decimals was corrected together. Students that were not done the assignment worked with Ms. G on getting it completed. Students then started on the review assignment - page 118 - ALL (except 2) - #1,3,4,5 ARE DUE FOR THURSDAY! DON'T FORGET ABOUT THE TEST ON FRIDAY, APRIL 27!
Period Three - French 6A (6B had Phys. Ed with Ms. Chewka)
We continued our review of conjugating er verbs. We reviewed the subject endings for conjugating er verbs. Students had the rest of the class to work on the review page. Assignment is due Monday, April 30. (Fill in the blanks and tranlsate a minimum of 20 sentences)
Period Four - Social 6B
Pre-Contact Project Research. Students had time to finish their research on food. They also began their research on homes. Food research is due on Thursday. Students were also given some time to complete their Digital Photostory image insertion. DON'T FORGET TO BRING YOUR $5 FOR THE TRI-FOLD BOARD.
