Notes/Reminders for Today
- Math Test on Decimals – Friday, April 27 - Note the date change!
- Grade 6 students will be helping with town clean up on Monday May 14 with an alternate day of May 25. Permission slips will be coming home shortly. PLEASE NOTE THE DATE CHANGE!!!!!
- STANDARDS TRACK MEET IS WEDNESDAY, APRIL 25 - A NOTE WENT HOME TODAY!!!!!!
- Please bring $5.00 to cover the cost of the tri-fold board that will be used in our social Cultural Fair
Period One- ELA 6B
Today was the last class for students to work on inserting their PhotoStory images. (However everyone worked hard and some students needs a little bit more time, so I will give them some time tomorrow.) PHOTOSTORIES MUST BE READY FOR NARRATION BEFORE THURSDAY, APRIL 26!!!!
Period Two - Math 6B
The textbook assignment (Page 111 # 1,2,3,6,7,8) was corrected today. I am feeling very confident with students' ability to divide decimals. Students had the rest of the class to complete the Dividing Decimals hand in assignment that is DUE TOMORROW. DON'T FORGET ABOUT THE TEST NEXT FRIDAY, APRIL 27!
Period Three - French 6B
We continued our look at conjugating er verbs. We corrected the habiter sheet that was due for today.
Our French class was cut short as we were called to the gym to recognize our Senior Girls Provincial Curling Team who were awarded the Sportsmanship Award. Congratulations to Courtney Bartok, Jade Kerr, Jasmine Kerr and Brittany Lee.

RTI - today's teacher pass went to students practising division of decimals using long division. I have met with ALL students at least once.
Period Five- Social 6A
Students worked on their social project. Class goals today were to complete the map page and start the research page on food. Students are learning research skills as they complete this project.
Students are asked to bring $5.00 to cover the cost of a tri-fold board.
