Notes/Reminders for Today

• Math Test on Decimals – TOMORROW - practice your multiplying and dividing of decimals!!!!
• Grade 6 students will be helping with town clean up on Monday May 14 with an alternate day of May 25. Permission slips will be coming home shortly. PLEASE NOTE THE DATE CHANGE!!!!!
• SHOWCASE  FORMS ARE DUE TOMORROW.  You need to bring them in even if you are NOT attending the meet!
• Please bring $5.00 to cover the cost of the tri-fold board that will be used in our social Cultural Fair

9:00 - 10:30 -  Centres

Students completed day 1 of cycle 19 centres today. A summary of the centres is listed below.  Students were reminded to work hard and carefully.

ALL CENTRE ACTIVITIES WILL BE DUE ON MAY 2!!!

10:30 - 11:00 - Math 6B

Review questions #1,3,4,5 from page 118 were due today.  Students continued working on the review assignment pg. 118 #6-15 during this short period.  (Math was continued in period four in order to be prepared for the test)

Period Three -Phys. Ed. 6B with Ms. Chewka

Period Four - Math 6B
Test preparation continued during this period.  Students finished working on the review pages and checked their answers with the key provided.  Questions that were done incorrectly were reviewed and corrected.  ENSURE THAT YOU HAVE COMPLETED THE ASSIGNMENT AND CORRECTED YOUR WORK IN PREPARATION FOR THE TEST.  If you do well on the review, the test will be a piece of cake!!!!!

RTI - Students used RTI time to study for their test, redo their creative writing centre if requested, complete their food research for their Social project, complete centre activities that were not done in class time or read independently.Teacher passes went to students requesting extra support in preparation for the test tomorrow!!!
