- An important newsletter was sent home on Friday. There will be a change to students' timetables after the Easter break. This change is being implemented to create a 25 minute RTI period every afternoon. Mr. Copp and Mr. Erhardt will be coming to speak to our students tomorrow. RTI advisory groups are posted, so students can find out who their teacher advisor is.

- Current Events are due on Wednesday, April 4
- French Calendars are due on Wednesday, April 4
- Tomorrow is the Polar Bear Dip, an annual event hosted by the ESA. Students who volunteered to participate need to bring a towel and bathing suit. The polar bear dip involves running down a slip and slide into an ice cold pool.
9:00 - 10:30 - Centres
This was Day 3 of Cycle 18 centres. An overview of the centres can be found on the blog posting for Wednesday, March 28. Guided reading has continued to focus on our Mission Book Club info fiction graphic novels. Students are will continue to identify various reading strategies they use in their reading. ALL CENTRE ACTIVITIES ARE due on April 16.
10:30 - 11:10 - CWE
Students performed their decision making skits for the class today.
11:15-12:15 - French 6B
This was the last day for students to work on their calendar projects. ALL CALENDARS ARE DUE ON WEDNESDAY, APRIL 4. This calendar project has been a significant focus for this term. Therefore, French marks will dependent on the quality of this project.
1:20 - 2:20 -Easter Egg Colouring/Math 6B
We were invited by our reading buddies to colour Easter Eggs during the first part of this class. Grade 6, you are a great group of buddies!!!
For the remainder of the class, students were given back their multiplication of decimals hand ins. We reviewed and made corrections.
2:25 - 3:25 - Social/French 6A
Students were divided into two groups. Group one went to the computer lab to work on their French calendars while the second group stayed in the classroom and continued looked at how the environment of the Indigenous people affected their lifestyle. The groups switched for the second half of the period. If students were done either of the activities, they had time to work on their current events packages. Important notes: French calendars and current events are both due on Wednesday, April 4.
