It's official - December is here! Students have begun the countdown to the holidays.......here's how today looked!
9:00 - 10:30 - Centres
Student worked through Day 2. If you were absent today, you need to pick up your missed centre work. Keep up the great work, grade 6.
10:35-11:10 - Math 6B
Mrs. Parsons came to our classroom to talk about the school spelling bee which will take place on Friday, Jan. 6. Students will write a qualification test on Tuesday, Dec. 6. The top 5 spellers in our class will qualify for the school competition. Our class was so excited about the spelling bee that we never got to math. It's great to see your enthusiasm grade 6!
11:15 - 12:15 - Writing 6A (6B had Phys. Ed with Ms. Chewka)
1:20 - 2:20 - Social 6A (6B had Science - check Ms. Smart's blog for details.
CURRENT EVENTS WERE DUE TODAY. GREAT WORK TO SO MANY OF YOU ON YOUR MAPS! THEY ARE OUTSTANDING!
Map Skills - students were assigned "All Wet" - it is due on Friday, Dec. 9
Latitude - students were assigned the rest of the latitude booklet. Only page 4 was assigned for homework. This is due on Tuesday.
