Period 1 - Math 6B

3. Decimals - students were introduced to decimals today

        - they watched a video

        - they practised writing decimal numbers

        - they reviewed place, digit and value

        - a practice page was assigned

Period 2 - FRENCH 6B

Students wrote a quiz on the holidays.

The front page of Quelle est la date? was assigned.  It is due Tuesday.

Period 3 - ELA

REMINDER - PERSONAL NARRATIVES ARE DUE FRIDAY

Today was Day 3 of Cycle 10 centers.  All centers are due FRIDAY (the ski trip is Monday, so centers need to be done on day 5)

2. Current events - "Cod Fishery" story was returned to students.  They began a map of the month related to the story.

3. Landforms - we continued our look at landforms.  We brainstormed landforms we knew.  Students were each assigned a landform and had to complete a fact page about it.
