Our Day in a Nutshell

Period 1 - MATH 6B

1. Bell work

2. Conditioning

3. Patterns and Equations

        - the first 3 questions of the input/output tables booklet was corrected together

        - students had time to finish the booklet

        - a text assignment was given.  This is due tomorrow.

Period 2 - FRENCH 6B

Students continued their unit on Le Calendrier.  Today's focus was Les jours de la semaine (days of the week).  Students watched a video, completed a variety of smartboard activities and then completed the second page of the booklet.

Period 3 - ELA 6B

Today was day 3 of cycle 8 centers.  Students are working on their Iroquois Creation scripts in guided reading.  Centers are due on Friday

 Period 4 - SOCIAL 6B

1. Reset

2. Map Skills - we corrected the map skills that was due last Friday

3. Current Events - "A Fixed Election in Venezuela"  - students began working on this story in groups.  More time will be provided to complete this.

4. Country Fact sheet - students worked on their country assignment from last class.  there will be another class to work on this. 

 Period 5 - SOCIAL 6A
