Our Day in a Nutshell

Period 1 - MATH 6B

1. Bell work

2. Conditioning

3. Factors 

    - students reviewed factor horseshoes and factor rainbows

    - students learned about common factors and GCF (Greatest Common Factors)

    - a practice booklet (4 pages were assigned)

Period 2 - FRENCH 6B

Students continued their looks at "Les Nombres".  They reviewed the "must know" numbers and then practised writing French numbers on their whiteboards.

Period 3 -ELA 6B

Today was Day 1 of Cycle 4 centers.  All centers are due on October 24

 Period 4 - SOCIAL 6B

1. Map Skills - "Ten are True" was corrected together.  Students were assigned "On the Border".  It is due on October 25

2.  Provincial Election - students started this mini unit today.  We started with a look at the levels of government.  Students watched a video, played a levels of government online game and completed page 1 of the booklet.
