Our Day in a Nutshell
Period 1 - MATH 6B
1. Bell work
2. Conditioning
3. Place Value - Students wrapped up place value today
- a comparing numbers exit slip was completed
- students had a choice to complete the place value Knowledghook Mission or Extra Practice 1 (paper pencil)
Period 2 - ELA 6B
1. Students were introduced to centers which will begin tomorrow. They were given maps, set up their center folders, went to their center classrooms and explored "All the Right Type" and "Read Theory" which will be used in our center rotations.
Period 3 - ELA 6B
Students had this period to finish their "Lore of the Unicorn" questions. When they were done, they could do any of the following:
1. Read
2. All the Right Type
3. Read Theory
4. Finish social that is due tomorrow (Continent/Ocean map and Continental Quest)
Period 4 -SCIENCE 6B
We continued our look at Claissifying Living Things.
1. Students finished their transportation tree diagram
2. A Tree Diagram Assignment was given to students. They are to choose their own topic and create a tree diagram using the criteria provided
