Our Day in a Nutshell

 Period 1 - MATH 6B
Mixed Numbers and Improper Fractions Centers - student circulated through their last 3 of the following 6 centers:
1.  Teacher Table - fractions on a number line
2.  Kahoot
3.  Comparing Game
4.  Teacher Table - solving problems
5.  Spiral Activity
6. Fraction Puzzle

Period 2 - ELA 6B
Today was a writing day.  Students printed their descriptive creature and completed a revise and edit activity.  Final copies were printed.  If you weren't done in class time or were absent, these are due March 22.

Period 3 - ELA 6B
This was a continuation of period 2.  We did the following:
1.  Finish descriptive creature
2. Finish centers
3. French calendars completed and printed
4. Mission Space Inquiry
5. Read Aloud

 Period 4 - SOCIAL 6B
Reset
1.Current Events - students continued their current event, "The Carbon Tax".  Student had time to work on the questions.
2. We continued our look at climate graphs - students discussed the Buenos Aires climate graph and completed the Tokyo climate graph.  There will be a climate quiz on Tuesday:
    - list the 6 climate regions
    - list the 5 factors that affect climate
    - describe how climate affects living patterns
    - analyze a climate graph
3. Class ended with our read aloud.

Reset
