Students worked on day 3 of cycle 14 centres today. ALL CENTRE ACTIVITIES are due on Friday, Feb. 15. A list of centre activities can be found below.
HEALTH 6B
Students continued the unit on transmission of incurable infections. We watched the short video on AIDS and HIV while students completed a while viewing guide. We began discussing the viewing guide SOCIAL 6AStudents worked on their Atlantic Country Map during class today. There will be at least one more class to complete this.MATH 6B
Dividing decimals was continued today We corrected #3,4,5 from the "Dividing Decimals" handout. Students were then divided into two groups. The group that went with Mrs. Unch learned short division and worked on questions 6-11. The group that stayed with Mrs. Helmeczi worked on the same questions, practising the first few of each on whiteboards. The questions that WERE NOT done on whiteboards were assigned for homework.
