Students began our unit on transmission of incurable infections. We watched a short video on AIDS and HIV while students completed a while viewing guide.SOCIAL 6A
Students worked on their Atlantic Country Map during class today. There will be at least one more class to complete this.

Following the video, students reviewed the "mom, dad, sister, brother (and dog)" strategy for multiplying decimals. We also spent some time talking about estimating quotients to make sure our answer is reasonable. Students were assined the first 4 questions on the "Dividing Decimals" handout

We continued our study of sentence structure and paragraph writing. Students completed pages 74-80 of the booklet they were given on Wednesday.
