ELA HOMEWORK:
Students started a family heritage project this morning.  They should be coming home with an interview sheet!!!


MATH HOMEWORK:
Input/Output Machine Posters are due tomorrow!


SOCIAL HOMWORK
Island Paradise- 6B is due is November 30
From Sea to Shining Sea - 6A is due on December 7
6A Current events are due on Nov. 29; 6B Current events are due November 30

FRENCH HOMEWORK:
Les Jours booklet - the second page of the booklet is homework. It is due December 3

 
ELA 6B
Students were introduced to their family heritage assignment today.  The project is to interview a grandparent or second generation family member to learn about their family heritage.  They will create a Powerpoint presentation of the questions and answers along with pictures to present to the rest of the class.  Interviews MUST be completed by Monday, December 3.  Students will begin working on the Powerpoint on Monday.
 


HEALTH 6B
The decision making steps were discussed.  We worked through a case study together as a class working through the steps of the decision making process.  NO HOMEWORK


SOCIAL 6A
November Current Events packages were due today.
Island Paradise was also due.  Students were assigned a new map skills, "From Sea to Shining Sea".  Students had 20 minutes to work on these.  The are due on December 7.
We began our study of longitude by watching a video and filling in a cloze notes page. 


MATH 6B
A mad minute started the class. Question 4 and 6 from the textbook were assigned. Students handed in Step by Step 1 and Hand In 1 which were due today. The rest of the class was spent making a representation of our new concept. Students were given a "Pattern Rule" They were required to make a poster representing the rule and then had to write out the input rule, output rule and pattern rule. Below is a sample of what this might look like!


WRITING 6B
Students had time to choose and compose questions for their Family Heritage project.  INTERVIEWS MUST BE COMPLETED BY MONDAY, DECEMBER 3.  The rest of the class time was devoted to finishing our read aloud.
