Friday, November 23 - Day 2

Thank you to all parents that came out for interviews.  It was so nice to meet with everyone to discuss your child's progress.  If you didn't make it, but would still like to meet, please give me a call and we can make alternate arrangements.

ELA HOMEWORK:
Personal Narratives are due on November 27 - no more class time will be allotted for this.
Centres will be due on November 28. I am very impressed with how everyone is keeping up with their centres.


MATH HOMEWORK: Students are working on an operations booklet. Pages 18 and 19 are homework for tomorrow!


SOCIAL HOMWORK

Island Paradise- 6B is due is November 30
Island Paradise - 6A is due on November 29
6A Current events are due on Nov. 29; 6B Current events are due November

FRENCH HOMEWORK:
"Present a Person" is due as of today.


CENTRES
Students worked on Day 3, Cycle 9 Centres. These centres will be due on November 28. If you were absent, today's centres have been pulled and attached to your homework package. As well students were told that they need to complete 2 comprehension journal activities for term 2.

 READ ALOUD

After announcements and centre check, students listened to our read aloud.

SOCIAL 6A

1.  Students worked on current events packages that are due next Thursday, Nov. 29.
2. We continued to look at latitude. We reviewed the concepts learned last day and corrected the booklet pages that were assigned for homework.  Students worked through the last page of their latitude booklet.  THERE WILL BE A LATITUDE QUIZ ON TUESDAY!!!!

 

MATH 6B
1.  Multiplication conditioning kicked off the class
2.  The first 5 pages of the math operations booklets were corrected together.  Students were assigned pages 18 and 19.  These are homework for Monday.

FRENCH

Students did their "Present a Person" presentations.  We will finish these on Tuesday.
