IN FLANDERS FIELDS/MOVIE
Both grade 6 classes spent the afternoon together. First off, students listened to a presentation on poem, "In Flanders Fields" in preparation for their recitation of this poem during our school's Remembrance Day service on November 9. We practiced reciting the poem as a group and students who already have it memorized performed it for the class. WELL DONE!!!! Students began watching the movie, "The Borrowers" as a culminating activity to our Tales unit.
