SOCIAL 6A
We corrected the map skills, "Ten are True", that was due today.  A new map skills was not assigned. Instead, students used the time to work on their current event package which is DUE FRIDAY!!
Globes and the Earth was the focus for the remainder of the class.  Students wrote down definitions for axis, cartographer, rotate and sphere on the top of page 10 of their booklets.  We then read page 10 of the booklet together.  Students were to answer questions 2 and 3 on page 17.  This is homework.

MATH 6B
A mad minute started our class today.  The time was decreased to 1 minute, 30 seconds.
Bonus marks were given to students if they brought back their signed tests.  About 1/3 of the class remembered to do this.
Class work from our place value unit was filed.
Students completed an exemplar program using the "Use or Make a Table" strategy.  Much discussion was given on communicating what they're doing!  This is due tomorrow! (You do not have to do the "communicating" section for homework)
