Students handed in centre activities today and shared their Spelling Discoveries. Mythical creature research was the focus of the rest of the class. Students will have one more class to work on this project. No due date has been set.
MATH 6B
Our study of divisibility rules concluded today. We corrected the second page of the divisiblity worksheets. Students then learned about prime and composite numbers. This concept was introduced with a video. To view the video, click on the link below, go to lessons, choose Multiples, Factors, Prime and Composite Numbers and then go to lesson 5.
Next, students worked through an explore activity to help them understand what a prime and composite number is. Factor rectangle assignment is due for tomorrow!
