Picture profs went home today. Please bring orders in as soon as possible. Final Deadline is October 3.

Math Homework:  Page 14, 15 and BLM 5 are homework for tomorrow!
CENTRES ARE DUE SEPTEMBER 27

Social Homework: Map Skills 6B: Oceans of Information is due tomorrow. 6A: Ten Are True is due on Sept. 28. Current Events packages are due on Oct. 4 for 6A and Oct. 5 for 6B

 

CENTRES
Students worked on "Day 3" centres today. All centre activites will be due on Sept. 27. Below is a list of week one centre activities:

SOCIAL 6A (6B had Science - check Mrs. Unchulenko's blog for details.)
Student worked on their Current Events packages for the first 20 minutes  They are due on October 4. Students viewed the video, "Globes and Their Uses" and completed the questions found on page 5 of the "Globes and the Earth" booklet.  Don't forget about map skills, "Ten Are True" which is due on September 28.

MATH 6B
We began the class with a multiplication "conditioning."
We corrected the place value assignment that was due today.  We reviewed written, standard and expanded form of numbers in the millions period and students had the rest of the class to work on the assignment that is due tomorrow:

Page 14, Page 15, BLM 5

RTI
Students worked on their math place value assignment, social map skills/current events and incomplete centre activities.  Teacher passes went to students to catch up on missing assignments.

FRENCH 6B
We continued our study of "Les Nombres".  We reviewed how to say each of the important numbers, watched a video on French Numbers and practised making large numbers on our white boards.
