Notes/Reminders for Today
- Please bring your $5 for the tri-fold boards. Students have begun designing their social presentations.The heritage fair will be held on June 20 from 1:00-3:30.
- There are 31 of us attending the drama production of "The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe" tonight. Looking forward to seeing you all tonight! I will meet you in the lobby of the theatre with your tickets.

- June 22 - Grade 6 Band Recruitment at Gillen and barbeque at Carlton Trail

9:00 - 10:30- ELA 6B
Today was Day 1 of Cycle 22 centres. This will be our last round of centres for the year. An overview of the activities can be found below:

10:30 - 11:00 -CWE
Student had an opportunity to think about their abilities and how they affect future decisions. Students completed an activity which assessed their multiple intelligences (MI). Students are to read each statement and rate each as a 1 (does not describe me) or a 5 (definitely describes me). Scores for each statement should be added up to caluclate your score for each intelligence. The highest score denotes the students' dominant intelligence. This is due next day!
Period Three -Math 6B
The textbook assignment on exploring percent was corrected together. (page 188-189). Students were assigned Extra Practice 7. This is homework for any students that did not complete it during class time. THERE WILL BE A MATH TEST ON THURSDAY JUNE 14.
Students printed their colour pictures for the Social project during this hour as well.
Period Four - Math 6B
Yay - another hour of Math....we had double math today in order to prepare students for the upcoming math test. Students were taught a lesson on fractions, decimals and percent. The following textbook assignment was given: Page - 192- 193 #1(a-d), 2(a-d), 3(a-d), 4, 5, 6, 8 (use step by step), 9, 10, 11. Student will have 30 minutes to complete this on Monday. It is due on Tuesday, June 12.
PerIod Five -Social 6A
Students continued to work on preparing their heritage fair presentation. TRIFOLD BOARD MONEY IS NOW DUE!!!!!!!! OUR HERITAGE FAIR WILL BE HELD ON JUNE 20!!!
