Our Day in a Nutshell
Period 1 - Math 6B
Today's focus was area. Students watched a video, learned the formula for area of a rectangle, completed a practice booklet and then did an area assessment. We also spent some time relating area and perimeter
Period 2 - FRENCH 6A
Students continued their mini unit on Ma Famille
- we reviewed the family vocabulary and corrected the assigned booklet page
- students began working on their Google slides
Period 3 -ELA 6B
The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe
- students listened to chapter 11 and 12
- booklet activities for these chapter were completed
- students were assigned chapter 11 and 12 questions
Period 4 - SCIENCE 6B
Today was all about flight. We finished looking at the forces of flight and explored the properties of air. Students rotated through 5 stations exploring the properties of air.
Period 5 - GRADE 6 BAND
